For years I have had constant back issues higher and lower. Including alot of pain, and pins and needles in my legs but mainly in my left. I also had felt like my left leg was dragging whilst walking and was feeling rather worried and baffled by this. I did a bit of Internet searching and came across Mike's website and decided to book an appointment. Never seen a chiropractor in my life, it's the best move forward I have made. Previous to this i had been told by a specialist at castle hill that they couldn't get to the bottom of my issues although It did show on a scan a slight herniated disc on L4 on my spine, but that wouldn't be causing my issues. Sadly instead of referring me for further investigation the consultant discharged me and recommended physio. Never attended physio as other health issues restricted me. The consultant never mentioned about the work of what a chiropractor could do, but I soon found out after reading Mike's website. I decided to drop him a message and attended a booking a day later. 💫 Mike Is very flexible for appointments and times, I found he was very professional but at the same time he had a compassionate and empathic attitude towards myself and the history I shared with him on my health and pain. Mike explained the process on what he would do, basically checking for any issues of the spine, pelvis and so on. So it turned out at my consultation, my pelvis was out of alignment and the right side of my body was higher than the left and I had bad back posture specifically at the top. I cannot explain how infuriated I was towards my old consultant and the total dismal but at the same time having all this new found information broken down to me and validated by Mike. (HE IS A POWER HOUSE) Cannot explain how many questions I had running through my head, and I put these too Mike and he was very informative and reassuring he also mentioned that the new light of information doesn't just have to be shared via myself through email but that it could be shared with my doctor if that was something I would like. Mike is a true blessing in he's field of work he cares about his clients, and I have suggested friends who have also found new information on there pain and the cause. And what's more amazing is Mike discusses and divulges a plan to put together to try and help each problem. So for myself it was suggested some exercises from home including with a foam roller. I also have weekly sessions of manipulation and tissue massaging with Mike at flux. I explained I have trauma/cptsd and anxiety, so lots of fear can come up. Before any manoeuvre or touching, Mike prewarns me what he is going to do and what may or will happen once manipulating a part of my body etc. He also updates me of any new changes to the body like if the legs are now realigning or knots and tension in areas of my back. There has been a few snap, crackle and pops in my back but this hasn't hurt unlike what is seen on online videos across the world people screaming and loud cracks and so on.
